In fact
I travel a bit more than it might seem from the lack of any accurate photos, what with all the charming locations gone with the winds of merciless memory. This summer has been pretty much different from anything I'd been able to experience during the past dozen years.

I broke my camera
and it's been a shock comparable to one of losing home. It was an accident, of course, yet the feeling was absolutely devastating. I reckon I've been functioning on pure instincts for a week or so.

The juicy details
are all about the fact we've been in the mountains at the time the accident took place. No immediate mending service, no nothing - but the mind-blowing sunsets that are only possible when you're trapped in the majestic landscape without any means of communication and such.

Upon our return
to the warm and greasy embrace of civilization, I took his lifeless body to the official Canon service, since - however strange it may seem - no new cameras turned out to be capable of outshining his formidable awesomeness.

My baby is no baby, actually
Since he's well over seven years of age, so HOW was it possible for the new models to be inferior to his characteristics - that's beyond my comprehension.

In the end
I was overcoming the shock in really strange ways - like forgetting my adorable at home for most important of occasions, on the basic fear of making the same mistake again.

It didn't last long
- today we've met a metal pole heads on, and it's pretty damn difficult to explain this was my only hope to prevent the inevitable falling into the marsh well downside the cliff.

The perfect cliffhanger
was just meant to pose as a beautiful header. We've got scars all over the plastic body, but we're still standing, even after all that nightmarish hell of deliverance.

Long story short
shit happens, and scary shit. However, someone had to test this journal skin :XD:
